Mason - His current family is moving and unable to take him with them. Mason is a 4-year-old male, good with kids and other dogs. Cats are an unknown. He is hypothyroid, but that just requires an inexpensive pill each day, which is easy enough, considering you'll be getting a real sweetie.

Laney and Chloe - Another pair of sisters! Laney is 6 and Chloe is the older one at 9. Both dogs are excellent family members, good with other dogs, cats (as you can see) and children. They come from a home with a toddler and are excellent companions. Through no fault of their own, they must find a new family to love them. They know basic obedience commands and are willing to learn new household rules. Please give them a chance!
Carson - This little fella is only 6 months old. If you look up adorable in the dictionary, you'll see him. He is typically playful, full of the devil, eager to please and learn, and we're expecting lots of inquiries about him. A little timid with new situations at first, he is learning new things every day and enjoying them all! He loves life and wants to share his with a new family. His foster says his pictures can't come close to showing what a great temperament and personality he has.
Rudy - Seems the family is moving on and he's not. Rudy is a 3-year-old, calm, good-with-everyone kind of dog. He's just happy to be. A pretty red boy, he's looking for a home where he can settle in for good.

Breck -  She was abandoned by her owner. Luckily, Golden Treasures was able to snag her and bring her into the program. Breck is about 2 years old and is described by her foster parents as the "best dog ever". She is amazing with the toddler children in her foster home. She very gently eats Rice Crispies out of the one-year old's hands. As you can see in this photo, she also prefers the car seat during car rides to adoption events. Breck is undergoing treatment for allergies and is responding very well. She is taking an antihistamine for itching and is on a prescription diet. Her coat is growing back beautifully (hence her name...Breck, like the shampoo) and she rarely itches. She's an absolute sweetie looking for a family that won't leave town without her this time.
Beamer - He was standing at the front of the run at the shelter, just waggin' that tail as fast as he could, hoping to catch someone's eye. He was rubbing up against the bars, hoping that someone would scratch him. Well, it worked. He's now a golden treasure. This fella is 3 years old, was raised with kids and two other dogs and has lost his home because the previous owners had to move into a rental situation and the landlord wouldn't let them keep their dog. He's looking like he'll be a "velcro" dog--stuck to you all the time. He's very affectionate. He's also heartworm+, but will be undergoing his treatment next week and will be just fine.
Meredith - Pulled from a shelter, this 3-year-old sweetie is good with everyone--kids, dogs and cats. We're looking for a home that can keep her quiet for a while, since she's heartworm+ but has undergone her treatment and will be just fine.
Honey - We were fortunate enough to get her into our program with the help of one of the humane societies. She came in as one of two dogs from a severe abuse case. Honey is 4 years old. She is emaciated (we'll fix that soon enough!), and heartworm positive (we'll fix that, too). It took several baths to get her true color to come through. That's why she's a honey of a dog. Even though she hasn't had a great life so far, things are lookin' up.

Muffy - She's a sweetie who is a little confused right now. Her owner left her with a relative and never took her back! That's where the confusion comes in. She's good with everyone and everything. She likes other dogs, is good with kids of all ages, even likes cats. One of her favorite things to do is ride in a car. She wants to lose about 10 lbs. (don't we all) and walks great on a leash.
Nike - This cutie is 6 years old. He's a sweet dog who hasn't been able to catch a break. Unable to walk him or take care of his outdoor activity, his elderly previous owners tried to do right by him, but Nike ended up living down the basement for 3 years. Now that he's seen the light of day, he loves it! Anxious to find a new family, he's adjusting well and we're sure, with some much-needed TLC, he'll be on his way to a normal, loving life. Won't you help show Nike that there's a whole new world out there for him?
